I recently booked a two-night stay for my 25th wedding anniversary, hoping to enjoy the spa facilities. While the setting in the countryside was downright picturesque and our room was beautifully appointed, we were disappointed to find the spa closed for refurbishment. The overall experience was marred by this, though management was very accommodating. The dining options, especially the afternoon tea, truly elevated our stay.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel which offered great value for my mum's birthday surprise. The treatments were fantastic, and the staff made us feel very welcome. However, there were a few drawbacks like the pool's chlorine level and the need for better dinner inclusion policies.
